We are looking for an Wholesale Account Executive who will be responsible for inside sales activity and helping to expand the broker direct business. Candidates with previous experience as a mortgage processor, broker coordinator or wholesale account manager will succeed in this role.

 As an Inside Wholesale Account Executive you will:

  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers for their accounts receivables issues.
  • Provide prospect/customer with price quotations and insure there is a full understanding of the parameters regarding such programs.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Research trends and developments of primary industry(s) through the use of related publications, internet and training sessions to maintain and grow current knowledge base.
  • Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems in a timely manner
  • Understand and support sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication, effective listening, problem solving and negotiating required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple files at one time
  • Flexible and strong work ethic
  • Knowledgeable and outgoing

Skills and Attributes:

  • A business degree is desirable but not necessary; alternatively a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in the wholesale mortgage industry
  • Technical proficiency with loan production software (Encompass a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite

Successful candidates will source and develop business relationships with loan originators meeting the credit profile required to become approved customers of Total Mortgage Services – Wholesale Division, as well as maintain business relationships with customers to produce mutually beneficial long term relationships.

As a wholesale account executive you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers.
  • Manage day-to-day sales activity.
  • Create and implement marketing plans in order to increase production.
  • Review initial broker application packages for completeness prior to submission.
  • Present loan products and pricing to mortgage brokers and assist brokers in offering our loan products for their customers.
  • Train brokers on loan submission process and monitor broker submissions.
  • Manage production pipeline to ensure timely flow through wholesale process.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues on a loan-by-loan basis.

Requirements

  • 5+ yrs recent experience in the wholesale mortgage industry with strong track record of effective sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding production, profitability, quality, efficiency and customer service goals.
  • Must have a current book of business
  • Ethical, Professional Sales Skills.
  • Technical proficiency with loan production software and Microsoft Office
